The only installed extensions are the Discogs tagger and the Dutch translation (both up-to-date). ![]() On other albums where it's at least the right album, instead of the album art, a picture of the CD itself is being used, or a promotional picture from the whole CD or LP package (or a mixture of the two, even within the same album) instead of just the album art. For now I have disabled the option, I hope that works.įor example: I just ripped the Ayreon album "Universal Migrator" to my NAS with the correct album art being saved inside both the tags and the folder, but as soon as I selected the ripped tracks to play, the album art that was saved was replaced with a completely different artist and album that are not even remotely related in name or title. I had 'lookup missing artwork' enabled, but the artwork is not missing from these tracks so I don't understand why MM is overwriting it. You may still wish to do this for sound quality reasons. Swinsian has the advantage that is supports flac and DSD formats (dsf and dff), so there is less need to create temporary files than with my iTunes front end to HQPlayer. Even after auto-labelling from the internet (Discogs db) with the correct album art, MM seems to overwrite the saved album art with completely the wrong album and artist, or with low quality artwork. Attached please find my Swinsian front end to HQPlayer. ![]() The only thing that still lags behind is the Airplay integration with third part audio systems. I'm glad that I'm not the only one with this issue. It's most unique feature is that it can store own ID tags without overwriting the ID tags in files. to copy-and-paste the new artwork, simply copy the picture from its source ( CTRL+C or right-click/Copy image) and then click in the artwork area of the songs and use CTRL + V to paste it in Add Artwork button: this method only works if you have a saved copy of the picture on your computer.
